Executive Session of the South Bend Common Council
2012
The September 26, 2012 Executive Session of the South Bend.Common Council was called to
order by Council President Derek D. Dieter at 3:40 p.m. in the Council's Informal Meeting
Room.
Persons in attendance included Council Members Tim Scott, Henry Davis,Jr., Dr. David Varner,
Oliver J. Davis, Derek D. Dieter, and Karen L.White, E. Spencer Walton of the May Oberfell
Lorber law firm and Council Attorney Kathleen Cekanski-Farrand.
Council Members absent: Valerie Schey

The Executive Session was called pursuant to the September 24, 2012, Notice of Executive
Session for the purpose of discussing strategy with respect to pending litigation or litigation
which has been threatened in writing, pursuant to Indiana Code § 5-14-1.5-6.1 (b)(2)(B) (copy
attached)
This is to certify that the only subject matter discussed at this Executive Session was that
contained in the September 24, 2012"Notice of Executive Session".
Council President Dieter adjourned the Executive Session at 4:00 p.m.
