AN ORDINANCE OF THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA APPROPRIATING $312,506.00 FROM
EMERGENCY MEDICAL SERVICES CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT FUND #288
FOR THE. PURCHASE. OF EQUIPMENT
It is necessary to defray expenses within the emergency medical
services capital improvement budget with an appropriation of Three.
Hundred Twelve Thousand Five Hundred. Six Dollars ($312,506.00) from.
Emergency Medical Services Capital Improvement. Fund #288 in order
to meet annual lease purchase obligations of the South Bend Fire
Department. for 1993.
The City has continued to generate increased revenue from the
emergency medical services bureau to support the capital needs of
both the Fire Department and its emergency medical services.
operations. This appropriation. has been included in the
department's projections as well as its five-year Capital
Improvement plan.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE. IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE.
CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, AS FOLLOWS.:
Section I. The following sum of money is hereby appropriated.
