Tuesday, May 26, 2020 Common Council Meeting
The South Bend Common Council will hold its regularly scheduled Committee and
full Common Council meetings on Tuesday, May 26, 2020. These will be full
meetings and not limited solely to COVID-19 issues. The agendas for Committee
meetings and the full Common Council meeting will be distributed by the usual
means.
In compliance with the Governor’s Executive Orders, the South Bend Common
Council and Committee meetings will be legally held by way of a virtual meeting
using the Microsoft Teams app. The Council Committee Meetings will begin at 6:15
p.m. with the full Council Meeting following at 7:00 p.m. Public access to the
meeting can be granted by this link: https://tinyurl.com/SBCC052620. As usual the
proceedings can be viewed live on the South Bend Common Council Facebook page
as well as on WNIT public access channel 99.
The public can participate in the meeting by following the directions in the “Chat”
section in the Microsoft Teams app. at the above link. In order to participate, you
will need to state your full name and address, as is also required to speak at in-
person meetings. If you will not be able to attend the virtual meeting, the Council
has created a public survey for individuals from the public to give their opinion on
items that are being deliberated by Council. That survey can be found here:
