AN ORDINANCE TRANSFERRING $48, 015 WITHIN ACCOUNTS WITHIN
THE U.D.A.G. FUND OF THE DEPARTMENT OF ECONOMIC
DEVELOPMENT FOR THE PURPOSE OF FUNDING PREDEVELOPMENT
COSTS OF THE SAMPLE-EWING PROJECT AREA
Statement of Purpose and Intent:
In order to assure the efficient and timely utilization of
Urban Development Action Grant Reimbursement Funds and to further
the implementation of the redevelopment plan in the Sample-Ewing
project area, certain transfers are necessary.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the
City of South Bend, Indiana, as follows:
SECTION I. The sum of $48, 015 is hereby transferred among
accounts within Fund 410 as follows:
Reduce the following:
Description Amount
Colfax Theatre (Acct # 410.1002 .460.39 .82) $48, 015
Increase the following:
Description Amount
Professional Services (Acct # 410 .1002 .460.31.06) $48, 015
SECTION II. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage by the Common Council and approval by
the Mayor.

Dear Council Member:
The attached bill for your consideration and approval will transfer
$48, 015 from the Colfax Theatre demolition account into the
Predevelopment Fund. This action will allow us to begin the
implementation of the redevelopment plan for the Sample-Ewing
area. It is anticipated that these funds will be reimbused from
Tax Incremental Financing funds at a later date. If you have any
