Kathy, I drove this out yesterday and ATT has no crossings in your planned route. I 6d observe that CATV has 2 overhead
qLJYS that will need to be considered. I have added Jay on here so he is aware and in case you didn't have his info.

Subject: RE: 522 Napoleon Drawings
Thank you for sending this over, Bryan. The width of the drive is only one minor issue in this plan. While this involves
relocating a house, it is new to this site and the addition is as large, if not larger, than the original house. Based on
that, I'm considering this a new development and it will need to meet the regulations of the NNZO. Most of the
discrepancies are actually from the Ul District, which would have applied with or without the house move. There are
several things that stand out to me in the design and layout of the house.
Site Layout and Building Design:
• 4DUnot permitted unless this is the primary residence of the owner of the property. The current tax records
indicate the owner lives in8|onmiingtom.|fthis has changed, pUeaeaprovide documentation. Othenmise,a
variance will be need to allow the unit above the garage or the cooking facilities will need to be removed. WE
HAVE ELIMINATED THE COOKING FA[|UT|ESASPART (}FTHE PLAN
• Per the Ul District — The garage must be setback a minimum of 5' behind the corner faade and annimimumm
of 18'from the property line. WE HAVE SHIIFTED THE HOUSE ON THE LOT WEST 3" TO PROVIDE 18' SETBACK
FROM TH'E EAST LOT UINE. THE EAST FACADE OF THE GARAGE IS SETBACK 6'-3" FROM THE MAIN HOUSE
FACADE
• The primary faadeshall face the primary street (Napu|eom)OK, AGREED
w Per the NNZO, the primary fagade shall either have a stoop which is a min, imum of 30% the width of the front
fagadeora porched that is 50% of the front fagade WE ARE SHOWING A STOOP THAT MEETS THAT
REQUIREMENT /3O96(]FTHE N0RTHFA[ADEi
• Per the Ul District, the front and corner fagade shall have a minimum of 15% transparency on each floor.
Please note, the method of calculation is different for the first floor and second floor. PIease refer to Chapter
2,Method ufMeasurement for calculations, WE HAVE MODIFIED THE DORMER ONTHE NORTH SIDE TO

the curb, but as that is not logical with the needed apron and approach, I'll allow it to be 15' at the property
line. A19'wide opening is NOT permissible. It can widen as it approaches the garage. There is able room in
the design and layout to move the garage further to the west to accommodate this, WE HAVE ADJUSTED THE
DRIVE T315'|NTHE ROW AND THE APPROACH AND UTWIDENS TQ18'ONTHE LOT.
Please discuss these changes with your client. These changes will need to be incorporated before the project can
proceed, or you will need to seek variances. The next variance filing deadIine is May 4 * for the June 1^meeting.
Please note, the meeting days may get extended depending onthe [0V|D-19declarations and guidelines bythe
various government entities.

Hi Angela,
Thank you for taking the time to talk yesterday. Please see drawing set attached that shows proposed 19' driveway
width. Elevations can be seen in the set which show the two single garage doors to match the scale on the historic
house - keeping in character.
Please advise so we can proceed with driveway permit,
