Mrs Kolata noted that Can American
has requested that we issue a
Certificate of Completion for The
Po' to at Saint Joseph apartments
before the end of April. They need
the Certificate of Completion in
order for them to have their
permonent financing in place before
May 1st when the construction
financing bonds are due.
Mrs. Kolata noted that there are some
construction items that are not
ccnTlete. Although we do not want to
set a precedent for issuing a
Certificate of Completion before a
project is complete, the staff feels
that the cirmunstances in this case
are extenuatincr.

Mr. Koepfle toured the project and
prejered a list of construction items
that: were not complete. They are
listed in his memo of April 25th to
Jon Hunt and Ann Kolata. The
in lete items are as follows:
1) Building D: Exterior is partially
finished; the exterior insulation
and finishing system and final
colors must be applied.
2) ilding E: The exterior
insulation and finishing system
and final colors must be applied.
3) 'verbank: Concrete from truck
lean -out during building
nstruction must be removed.
4) ennis Court: Must be surfaced,
fined and posts and nets be

6) ping: Work begun on April
3, 1990 must be completed.
Mrs. Kolata noted that we are
confident that Can Am will complete
the project soon because it is in
their interest to do so. However, as
a gwLrantee, we recommend that the
C ssion hold the $30,000 retainer
unti the items on the list are
Como ete.
Mrs. Kolata indicated that we will
come back to the Commission for
authorization to release the $30,000
when these items are complete.
Upon a motion by Mr. Donoho, seconded
by Mr. Piasecki and unanimously
carriad, the commission approved the
Certificate of Completion for The

Mr. Piasecki asked if we would want

Mrs. Kol to noted that the bond closing
for the Domtown Improvement Project was
Tuesday, April 24th. We now have funds
to proceed with the projects.
The next Regular Meeting of the
Redevelqmient Commission is scheduled for
May 11, 1990 at 10:00 a.m.

a motion that the meeting be adjourned.
