Mrs Kolata noted that at the October 13,
1985 meeting the Cmui.ssion agreed to a
60 y period of exclusive negotiation
witt. the developer regarding the proposed
hotel for this site. She asked Ms.
Hic4ey to bring the Ccgmnission up to date
on #he status of the negotiations.
Ms. Hickey reported that negotiations
witli the developer no longer include
parcel C4 -30. The developer has
consolidated the site plan and parcel
C4-30 will be retained by the Ccamiission
for future development.
24s. Hickey reported that the current site
planhas the hotel (turned 90 degrees)
with, the entrance facing St. Joseph
Street. Surface parking bas been reduced
and the developer has requested an
entrance the north side of the
Jefferson Parking Garage and reserved
park ing spaces.
The Commission continues to have concerns
witt. the drivet material proposed for the
exterior finish. The developer has
agre ed to use brick at the first floor
levE 1, but still proposes drivet for the
oth five stories. Drivet has no track
for long term durability. The

available in the hotel. Mrs. Kolata
responded that it is a limited service
