The South Bend Common Council will hold a limited Common Council meeting on April 13,2020. The Common Council will hear only bills and ordinance amendments regarding changes to allow the City and the Mayor to take specific
actions to function during the COVID-19 pandemic. This is being done in compliance with Governor Holcomb’s Executive Orders.
In compliance with the Executive Orders, the South Bend Common Council meeting will be legally held by way of a virtual meeting by using Microsoft Teams app. The Council Committee Meetings will begin at 6:20 p.m. with the Council
Meeting following at 7:00 p.m. Public access to the meeting can be granted by this link: https://tinyurl.com/SBCC4132020. As usual the proceedings can be viewed live on the South Bend Common Council Facebook page as well as on WNIT public
access channel 99. The Common Council will hear only the following: 16-20 AN ORDINANCE OF THE COMMON COUNCIL OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, ADDING CHAPTER 5, ARTICLE 10, SECTION 5-125 TO THE SOUTH BEND MUNICIPAL CODE TO SUSPEND MUNICIPAL CODE SECTIONS 5-38(a)(2), 5-96(b) AND 5-97.5 FOR THE
DURATION OF ANY STAY AT HOME OR SIMILAR ORDER OR ANY DECLARATION OF A LOCAL DISASTER EMERGENCY RESULTING FROM CORONAVIRUS DISEASE 2019
