AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $15, 361 .20 FROM
THE MORRIS CIVIC AUDITORIUM IMPROVEMENT FUND
FOR THE PURPOSE OF PURCHASING ADMINISTRATIVE EQUIPMENT
AND PERFORMING VARIOUS REPAIRS AT THE MORRIS CIVIC AUDITORIUM
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE AND INTENT:
WHEREAS, the Morris Civic Auditorium is owned by the City of
South Bend and is managed under the control of the Century Center
Board of Managers .
The Century Center Board of managers on July 23, 1993, has
determined that it is in the best public interest to complete a
number of projects prior to the start of the next season.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I .
The amount of $15, 361 .20 is hereby appropriated and ordered
set apart out of the Morris Civic Auditorium Improvement Fund for
the purchase and installation of the following:
PROJECT AMOUNT
Roma/MCA Walkway Resurfacing $ 3,500 . 00
M.C.A. Stage Refinishing $ 3, 201 .20
Digital Key System - Telephone $ 6, 000 . 00
Carpet Cleaning $ 660 .00
Seat Cover Replacement $ 2, 000 . 00
TOTAL $15, 361 .20
SECTION II .
This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after its passage by the Common Council and Approval by. the
Mayor.
