AN ORDINANCE OF THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SOUTH BEND APPROPRIATING $10, 000.00
TO VARIOUS ACCOUNTS WITHIN THE
DEPARTMENT OF COMMUNITY AND ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT
OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE AND INTENT:
In order to assure the efficient and timely utilization of Urban
Development Action Grant Reimbursement Funds and that the immediate
needs of specific activities are met, appropriations to accounts are
necessary.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City
of South Bend, Indiana, as follows:
SECTION I. The sum of $10, 000.00 is hereby appropriated from
UDAG Fund (#410) to the accounts as set forth below.

SECTION II. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage by the Common Council and approval by the
Mayor.

Dear Council Member:
The attached bill for your consideration and approval will
appropriate $10, 000 in Urban Development Action Grant Reimbursement
Funds (Fund 410) for the Workforce Diversity project administered by
Workforce Development Services of Northern Indiana. This activity
continues to demonstrate success in its efforts to increase the
placement of minority job applicants in private sector jobs.
