Presenter: John Butler, St. Joseph County Auditor
Agenda: Update: Age-Friendly St. Joseph County
Committee Chair Lori Hamann spoke in general about the goals and general responsibilities of the
Community Relations Committee for 2020. She stated that she would like to further conversation
and initiatives from 2019.
Multiple Committee Members made very general comments related to goals that they would like
to see achieved as a Committee in 2020.
Committee Chair Lori Hamann then turned the meeting back to the presenter for a presentation on
an Age Friendly St. Joseph County. John Butler, St. Joseph County Auditor's office with offices
on the 2nd floor of the County-City building gave a power point presentation (which can be
obtained in the City Clerk's Office) related to AARP, aging and making the entire St. Joseph
County area an age friendly place to live.
