Minutes of the Rescheduled Regular Meet-
ing of Friday, June 26, 1981 were approved.

Director to enter into agreement with Historic
Lan marks Foundation of Indiana relatiVe to the
ht Area.
Mr. McMahon explained that we have been negotiating
with the Historic Landmarks Foundation, as well as
with Southold Heritage Foundation to provide an out-
reach program in the Monroe - Sample area and to estab-
lish a site office. We originally thought this
arr ngement could have been established earlier so
tha we could be handling some of our relocation
act vities out of that office. That has not yet

ing with the residents as reflected:by the fact that
we a e moving very quickly on those properties.
Ann Kolata highlighted the aspects of the contract
with Historic Landmarks Foundation. Historic Land-
marks will be identifying those houses recommended
for moving, specific locations north of Bronson
Street that those houses should be moved to. They
are going to be providing designs for new construc-
tiori that would be compatible with the existing
architecture in the neighborhood, and are going to
recommend some exterior rehabilitation for existing
houses.
A second portion of their program will be to provide
a marketing brochure promoting the residential neigh-
borhood. The information on design and house moving
wil be complete by the end of October, and the bro-

7. PROGRESS REPORTS
Mr. McMahon stated that in the Monroe - Sample Development
Area we have acquired 60 properties, we have an agreement
reached on another 69, there are 37 which will go to
condemnation, and there are 21 which we are still nego-
tiating on.
In the ast Bank Development Area we have 4 properties
that will be closed within the next two weeks, 5 will be
going t condemnation, and 2 that we are negotiating on.
