AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $243,300
WITHIN VARIOUS ACCOUNTS OF THE WASTEWATER
FUND FOR VARIOUS IMPROVEMENTS
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE AND INTENT:
In order to meet existing and proposed demands, street widening projects, and to
provide an efficient storm-sanitary sewer system, certain improvements are needed within
the City of South Bend, Indiana. This improvement project is Project # 9002 - Ironwood
Drive widening, Brookmede to Ireland Road and includes the actual construction of these
sewers.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA AS FOLLOWS:
Section I. The following sum of money is hereby appropriated and ordered set apart
from the Wastewater Fund for the project in the amount set forth below:
PROJECT NO. LOCATION AMOUNT
9002 Ironwood Drive Widening $243,300.00
Section II. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage
by the Common Council and approval by the Mayor.

The Department of Public Works is requesting your approval for the attached
ordinance appropriating funds from the Wastewater Fund to the following project:
Project#9002 Ironwood Widening $243,300
The funds will be used for the construction of the Storm-
Sanitary Sewer system in Ironwood Road between Brookmede
and Ireland Roads.
