Engineer instructed to prepare a report showing the number and location of service pipes for water and sewer connections on W.Washington street from Walnut street to Circle Avenue,the material to be used and the manner of laying the same to points inside the curb from the mains;such report to be ready for the next council meeting on April 8th-1941. Resolved by the Hoard of Public Works, that the entire work under the contract for the construction of the East Colfax Avenue sewer from the upper end of the Coquillard school sewer to the center of Eddy street be accepted and approved and the final estimate allowed. Ordered that notice of this resolution be published in the South Bend Daily Tribune and in the South Bend Daily Times or_ the 4th day of April,1901, stating that on the 16th day of April, 19019 this board will at its office in the City Hall at 7:15P.X, hear objections from any person feeling himself aggrieved or injured by the acceptance of such work or by such estimate. VACATION RESOLUTION NO.l. Resolved by the Board of Public Works of the City of South Bend, that it Is desirable to vacate the following: That portion of St. Joseph street bounded on the north by the south line of East Marion street and on the south by the St. Joseph River. Also that portion of Marion street towit; The triangular parcel of the east end bounded on.the west by a line at right angles to the north side of said street and drawn from the south east -.,corner of lot 119 south to lot 11$.That the following property will be_benefically affected by such vacation, Lots 116," 117;20130, 1312 132, the property of Mary Barrett. Ordered by the Board of Public Works that hereafter when a permam.ent improvement io ordered made, there shall be in the buisness district a water tap and a sewer tap for every 33 feet of frontage on each side of the street, and in the residence district there shall be a water tap and a sewer tap for each lot having a40 foot frontage or less. Lots of more t1-an 40 foot frontage in the residence district shall have a water tap and a sewer tap for each 40 feet.
