The labels are attached. However, I think Nutriplant AG would be a good alternate since it has a little more N, some P and the same K. The micros, as everyone is finding out, are important. Our company has been stressing these micros for over 10 years. Ours is a shotgun variety pack since everyone has slightly different needs, but a combination which has proven itself well. Nutriplant AG does NOT have added surfactant, since it absorbs by itself readily and I have included absorption times for salts, synthetic chelates and amino acid chelates. Nutriplant AG is chelated with amino acids and carboxylic acids, all of which is then used by the plant. Nutriplant AG is recommended at 16 oz. per acre (0.37 oz. per 1000 sq ft) every month for a cost of $12.40. The frequency can be increased as needed. It can usually be applied with other nutrients or pesticides so it is possible this would not need an extra pass over the turf or field. A jar test is always recommended. Following is: 1. The Brandt Grigg Ultraplex 4-0-3 with Micros label with ingredients and application rates. 2. Nutriplant AG label with ingredients and application rates. 3. Absorption times. Ours are on the far right since Nutriplant AG is chelated with amino acids and carboxylic acids as mentioned above. 4. The last page, last sentence, just to reinforce the application rate. RATE RECOMMENDATIONS FOR PROFESSIONAL USE ONLY To prevent or correct nutrient deficiencies, apply GRIGG ULTRAPLEX as a foliar spray early in the morning or late afternoon. Allow 3-6 hours for drying time before irrigation. Best to apply after mowing. Cool or Warm Season Grasses. Apply 3-6 fl oz per 1,000 sq It or 1-2 gal per acre [10-20 L per hectare] as needed every 7-14 days. Make frequent applications at lower rates, or apply higher rates at times of greater plant demand. Optimum rate of application will vary depending on treatment interval, soil properties (such as pH, organic matter content, texture), weather condi- tions, time of year, plant species and its nutrient requirements. For best results, follow soil/tissue test recommendation. This product is not intended for use on food crop sites. MIXING AND HANDLING INSTRUCTIONS Agitate before use. Granger, In 46530 Supporting Documentation for APSA-80 vs. LESCO-Wet Liquid Wetting Agent: The point of surfactants, regardless of formulation, is to lower the surface tension. APSA-80 takes the surface tension down quickly to just over 30 dynes at 30.8 p,pm, or about 1 oz. in 100 gallons of water. For approaches, tees and greens on golf courses or other heavily trafficked turf, we recommend 1 oz. per 1000 sq ft every month at a cost of $0.47. For active dry spot we recommend 2.5 oz. per 1000 sq ft at a cost of $1.18. For fairways, rough, and other areas we want to keep greener longer we recommend 15 oz. per acre per month at a cost of $7.05. If it is possible to get it on while the turf is still dormant in the spring, we recommend starting with a double dose, then regular doses monthly. Fine Turf, Lawns, Fairways, Greens, Tees, and Athletic Fields: Initially apply 4-8 fl. oz./1000 sq. ft. before moisture stress is expected, Use either a conventional sprayer or an irrigation injection system. If sprayed, irrigate treated areas thoroughly to incorporate the active ingredient into the soil solution. Monthly maintenance rate of 1-4 ft. oz./1000 sq. ft. can be applied as necessary. For existing in -season problems, initially apply 4-8 fl. oz./1000 sq. ft. When used at the highest application rate and in certain weather and soil conditions, a low level of phytotoxicity may occur. Irrigate thoroughly after treatment to eliminate potential for leaf -tip discoloration. The preventative application treatment schedule (above) can then be followed starting 2 to 4 weeks after the initial application. APSA-80 takes the surface tension down quickly to just over 30 dynes at 30.8 p,pm, or about 1 oz. in 100 gallons of water. For approaches, tees and greens on golf courses or other heavily trafficked turf, we recommend 1 oz. per 1000 sq ft every month at a cost of $0.47. For active dry spot we recommend 2.5 oz. per 1000 sq ft at a cost of $1.18. For fairways, rough, and other areas we want to keep greener longer we recommend 15 oz. per acre per month at a cost of $7.05. If it is possible to get it on while the turf is still dormant in the spring, we recommend starting with a double dose, then regular doses monthly. The only price I found for comparison for Cascade Plus was $280 for a 2.5 gallon jug, so the per oz. price is $0.88 and they recommend 4-8 oz. per month, so at a minimum $3.52 per month. APPLICATION TECHNIQUES Under hot or dry conditions, Pre -wet the turfgrass with at least two turns of the irrigation heads or approximately 0.10 inches (26 mm) of water, to dilute the concentration of CASCADE PLUS on the leaf surface, decrease the risk of leaf discoloration, and improve product performance. Irrigate immediately after application for 15-20 minutes or with approximately 0.25 inches (64 mm) of water to move CASCADE PLUS into the root zone to enhance product performance. USE RATES Cool season turf (zones 1-6): Apply two applications of 8 ounces (237 ni each in 1-2 gallons (3.79-7.57 L) of water per 1000 square feet (92.9 m2) at a 7 to 10-day interval to relieve the symptoms of LDS for 4 to 6 months. Apply 4 ounces (119 ml) in 1-2 gallons (3.79-7.57 L) of water per 1000 square feet (92.9 m2) every 30 days, if shorter application intervals are desired. Cool or warm season turf (zones 1-10): Apply 4-8 ounces (119-237 ml) in 1-2 gallons (3.79-7.57 L) of water per 1000 square feet (92.9 m2) every 30-60 days. STORAGE AND DISPOSAL Protect product from freezing. If product freezes, warm to room temperature before use. Store in original container only and do not reuse empty container. Triple rinse (or equivalent) during mixing and loading. Recycling decontaminated containers is the best option of container disposal.
