STATEMENT OF PURPOSE AND INTENT The City Administration has determined that certain salaries for management positions are in need of technical corrections. The City Administration acknowledges that such requests are being made so that each of these positions remain competitive. This Ordinance sets forth each of these recommendations, and further acknowledges that the monetary sums can be properly afforded by the City. Section II, entitled "Annual Pay Based in Rank" of Ordinance No. 8397-93 entitled "An Ordinance of the Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana, Fixing the Annual Pay of Monetary Fringe Benefits of Firefighters of the South Bend Fire Department for Calendar Years 1994, 1995,and 1996"is hereby amended in part as follows: Rank 1994 1995 1996 Fire Chief $42,250 $46,400 $48,300 All other provisions of Ordinance No. 8397-93 are hereby reaffirmed,ratified and continued in full force and effect.
