Mayor ORDINANCE NO. 0(i 0at"'A-) AN ORDINANCE OF THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA APPROPRIATING FIVE HUNDRED FIFTY THOUSAND DOLLARS ($550,000.00)FROM THE GENERAL FUND STATEMENT OF PURPOSE AND INTENT: The Common Council of the City of South Bend hereby determines that it is necessary and in the best interest of the City to make certain appropriations from funds available within the General Fund of the City of South Bend to fund certain expenses of the City. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA AS FOLLOWS: Section I:The following sums are hereby appropriated and ordered set apart from and within the General Fund of the City of South Bend for the specified purposes: ACCOUNT NO. DESCRIPTION AMOUNT 101-0602-431.42-01 Dam& Special Olympics Park $320,000.00 Repairs 101-0602-431.42-01 MSF Gas Tanks $230,000.00 Total $550,000.00 Section II: This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage by the Common Council and approval by the Mayor. Leszczynski, Director January 25, 1995 Members of the South Bend City Council 4th Floor, County-City Building South Bend, Indiana 46601 Dear Councilmember: The Department of Public Works is requesting your approval of the attached ordinance appropriating funds from the General Fund in the amount of$320,000.00 for Dam and Island Park Repairs and$230,000.00 for the MSF Gas Tanks. These funds were appropriated through ordinance 8521-94 last year. However, because these items were not bid during the year, it is necessary for us to re-appropriate the funds at this time.
