AN ORDINANCE OF THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, APPROPRIATING $8, 000.00 FROM
INDIANA RIVER RESCUE FUND (FUND #291) FOR THE PURCHASE
OF EQUIPMENT
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE AND INTENT
It has become necessary to defray certain expenses within
the Fire Department with an appropriation of Eight Thousand
Dollars ($8, 000 . 00) from the Indiana River Rescue Fund (Fund
#291) in order to fund the purchase of certain equipment to be
used in the City' s Indiana River Rescue operation.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, AS FOLLOWS :
Section I . The following sum of money is hereby
appropriated and ordered set apart from Indiana River Rescue Fund
(Fund #291) for the items set forth below:
Account No . 289 0904 422 43/05
1 - Inflatable Rubber Boat (Zodiac)
2 - Outboard Motors
Miscellaneous ropes, webbing, etc.
TOTAL $8, 000 . 00
Section II . This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage by the Common Council and approval by
the Mayor.
