ORDINANCE NO. 3673 -.96
AN ORDINANCE OF THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, APPROPRIATING $16, 725.00 FROM
HAZ/MAT FUND (FUND #289) FOR THE PURCHASE OF EQUIPMENT
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE AND INTENT
It has become necessary to defray certain expenses within
the Fire Department with an appropriation of Sixteen Thousand
Seven Hundred Twenty-five Dollars ($16, 725. 00) from the Haz/Mat
Fund (Fund #289) in order to fund the purchase of certain
equipment to be used in the City' s Haz/Mat Tactical Rescue
operation.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, AS FOLLOWS :
Section I . The following sum of money is hereby
appropriated and ordered set apart from Haz/Mat Fund (Fund #289)
for the items set forth below:

1 - Crowcon Triple Plus Monitor
1 - Rollgliss Pulley System for Confined
Space Rescue
2 - Compressed Air Tank & Manifold System for
Tactical Resdue Truck

1 - Window Shade
2 - Stools for New Counter
1 - 3' x4' Bulletin Board
2 - 500 watt Z 500 CLT3

- Hazmat entry suits
TOTAL $16, 725 . 00
Section II . This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage by the Common Council and approval by
the Mayor.
