/Bids opened for Diamond.Avenue Water Connections and refered to -the City Engineer for
tabulation.
Petition received and placed on file asking for pavement on Kemble Avenue from Prairie
Avenue to Ewing Avenue.
Contract with.Zeigler & Stickler. Lumber -Co. for rental of ground on Emerick Street
ordered recinded after the lst. of August.1910
f. CONDEMNATION RESOLUTION NO-3
Resolved by the Board of Public Works of the City of -South Bend Indiana: That the following
described property be appropriated for the use of said City; A strip of land(20)feet
twenty.feet wide being a part of lot six(6) Jacob Leer's Surv&y.described as follows via:
Beginning at the intersection of the Westerly line of Leer Street as platted in Delmer
C..Leer's Sub -Division of lot (5) and part of "W" of Jacob Leer's Survey and the Southerly
line of Vistula Avenue,Thence Westerly along the Southerly line of Vistula Avenue,22.36
feet,thence Southerly parallel with trie-Westerly line of Leer Street to the Southerly
line of lot (6)in said Leer's Suvey thence Easterly on�the Southerly line of said lot (6)
to the Westerly line of Leer Street thence Norththerly on Westerly line of Leer Street
to the place of beginning.
.Tie following described property may be injuriously or beneficially affected by such
appropriation; Damaged Lot (6) Jacob Leer's Burney except part taken for the opening of
Leer Street,owned by Thaddeus M. & Nellie- S. '_ral<eott. Benefited all property lying
between the Lake Shore ,& Michigan Southern Rbllway and Dayton Street and Clyde Street
and Marine Street,tuid Alley between lots 53 and 52 and lots 90 and O1Leer's Re -Survey
of Second Addition -Also all property in D. C. Leer,'s Sub -Division of lots (5) and part of
"W" Jacob Leers Survey. Thepurpose of such appropriation is for the purpose of widening
of Leer Street from Vistula Avenue to the Lake Shore & Michigan Southern Railway
Notice of this Resolution shall be published on the 27th. day of July and on the 3th of
August 1910.in the South Bend Daily Times. This Board at its office in the City Ball
on the 19th day of August 1910 at 7-15bP.M. mill hear and receive remonstrances from all
persons interested in or affected by such proceedings

the northerly line of lot (2) in J.C. Knoblocks Sub -Division of the Peterman lot No. (4)
as laid off in the south east fractional quarter of Section 12 Township 37 N.R. 2 E 32.7
feet north easterly from the north westerly corner of said lot(2) which point i s CM the ea,-
terl;y line of George Avenue produced southerly. thence south esterly on the easterly line
of George Avenue p-rodneed. to-. the north line of Sample Street thence west on the north line
of SamIlle Street 47 f'eet,thence northwesterly to a point on the northerly line of lot 4
in said Knoblocks Sub-Division,which point is 6.2 feet south westerly from the north eas
-terly corner of lot (4)in said Sub -Division thence north eesterly 40.9 feet to the place
of beginning. The following described property may be injuriously or beneficially affee
