Remonstrance received read and placed on file remonstrating against pavement on Webster Street North from Ford street. Petition and plans of the Indiana & Michigan Electric Co, new under ground distric refered to the Board by the City Council,the same refered to the City Engineer . In the matter of the Union Aspholt Co. Claim for the amount of $2048.24 due to them on the South Main and west Jefferson Pavement the same not allowed. Contractors Excavation Bonds Lewis H. Webster and William Downes approved. Partial Estimate for the Brick pavement improvement on Prairie Avenue allowed to Harry N. Barnes for the sun of-----------------------------$2341.00 Contract signed and bond approved of Hugh. Anderson Grade,Curb and Walk on Camp au St, /Contract signed and Bond Approved bf._Jlarry--N it;Barnes for pavement on First Alley West Michigan Street between Bronson and Tutt Streets. .Contract entered into between the South Bend and Logansport Tract*on Co. approved and placed on file. ✓ Contract for the East Madison Street Pipe Sewer improvement awarded to Hoban & Roach IMPROVEMENT -RESOLUTION 40.33 Resolved by the Board of Public Works of the City of South Bend Indiana. That it is -desired and deemed necessary to make the following described public improvements in the said City as authorized by the following numbered improvement Resolution ,adopted.by said Board on the 12th. day of July 1910. Resolved that an improvement be made of the kind,size,location and terminal points as follois; Improve The First Alley Went of Main Street from Division Street to Monroe Street,by grading and paving the roadway also grading the roadway of intersecting and entering alleys lying within said portion of said alley not included in the _ roadway to be improved. With Aspholt,Bithlithic,Brick or'Creosoted Wooden Block laid sin a five inch Portland Cement concrete Gravilfoundation, from property line' to property line, placing the necessary Marginal Curb Cement Curb,and construction of the necessary Storm -Water inlets all sa shown on the plans,and in accordance_ with the profiles detail plans and specifications on file ill'the office of the 6&1d Board and all work in the making of said public improvement must be done in accordance therewith. Said Improvement shall b-e known and designated as THE FIRST ALLEY WEST OF MAIN STREET BETWEEN DIVISION STREET AND MONROE STREET -PAVEMENT IMPROVEMENT N0.33 Said Board has fixed the 5th. day of August 1910 as a date upon which remonstrances may be filed or heard by persons interested or affected by said public improvements and on said day at 7-15 P.M. said Board will at its said office hear and consider any remonstrators and persons interested or whose property is affected by said public improvement and will -decide whether the benefits that will accrue to t.!e property , abutting and adjacent to the proposed improvements and to said City,Will be equal to or exceed the estimated cost of the proposed improvements,as estimated by the City Civil Engineer. A Bond or Bonds to be issued to the contractor in payment of. such work where the property owner signs waiver required,according to law, Which said Bonds shall bear interest at the rate of six percent per. annum ,payable as provided by law. imPRbVEMENT RESOLUTION Nb.34 Resolved by the Board cif Public Works -of the City of South Bend Indiana. That it is desired and deemed necessary,to make the following described public improvements in said City as authorized by the following numbered Improvement Resolution,adopted by said Board on the 12th. day of July 1910. Resolved,that the Improvements be made of the kind,size,location and terminal points as -follows; A Pipe Sewer -in Meade Street from Kenwood Avenue to Bertrand Sheet together with the necessary house connections,Manholes,Inlets and etc.. Said Improvements shall.be known and designated as MEADE STREET PIPE SEWER IMPROVEMENT -N0.34.Detail cdi-:awings,plans,profiles and specifications are on file and may be seen at, the office of said Board and all work in the making of said Public Improvements must be-done.in-accordance therewith. Together with the necessary house connections Imanholea,inlets and etc., Said Improvement shall be designated as NORTH STIPETER STREET PIPE SEWER IMPROVEMENT NO.35: Detail drawing ,pians,profiles,and specifications are on file and may be seen at the office of said Board and all work in the making of said Public Improvement must be -done in accordance therewith . Resolved,that an improvement be made of the kind,size, location and terminal points As follows,Grade,Curb and Walk on East Calvert Street from Sampson Street to Caroline St, Said improvement shall be known and designated as EAST CALVERT STREET GRADE CURB -AND WALK IMPROVEMENT N0.36 Sec.1. Detail drawings,plans, profiles and specifications are on file and may be seen at the office of said Board and all work in the making of said public improvement must be done in accordance therewith. Resolved that an improvement be made of the kind,size,location.and terminal points as followt Cement Sidewalks on Corby Street from Niles Avenue to Notre Dame Street ,by constructing Cement Sidewalks on both side of said Street where not already constructed. Said improvement shall be known and designated as CORBY STREET SIDEWALK IMPROVEMENT N0037 Detail drawings,plans,prof'iles and specifications are on file and may be seen at the office of said Board and all work in the making of said public improvement.must be done in accorda -n ce therewith.Said Board has fixed the 5th. day of August 1910 as a date upon which remonstrances may be filed .or heard by persons interested or affected by said public improv -ment-and on said day at 7-15.P.M. said Board will at its said office hear and consider any remonstrator and person interested.or whose property is affected by said public improvement and will decide whether the benefits that will accrue to the property abutting and adjacent to the proposed improvement and to said City ,will be equal to or exceed the estimated cost of the proposed improvement as.estimated by the City Civil Engineer. By constructing cement Sidewalks on both sides of said Street where not already -constructed, and curbing the roadway with cement curb. NORTH ST PETER STREET CURB AND SIDEWALK IMPROVEMENT Nb.13 Detail drawings,plans,profiles and specifications are on file and may be seen.at the office of said Bdard and all work in the making of said public improvement must be done -in acco -rdance therewith. That it is desired and deemed necessary to make the following de-gcribed public improvement in the.said City as authorized by the following nuinpred Improvement Resolution,as adopted by said Board on the 12th.day of July 1910.Resolved that an improvement be made of the kind,size,location and terminal points as folios: Fast Calvert Street from the Second Alley east of Miami -Street to Lear Street,by Grading said Street from property line to property line,constructing Cement Sidewalks on boath sidesand curbing -'the roadway with Cement Curb. Said improvement shall be known and designated as East Calvert Street Grade Curb and Walk See. 2. Detail drawings,planns,profiles and specifications are on file and mor be seen at the office of said Board and all work in the making of said publie improvement must be done in accordance therewith.
