Board met in regular session 10.A.M.all-members present.
Petition received and refered to the City Engineer for specifications for a
Pipe Sewer on West Sample St.from Union to Webster Streets.
Petition received and refered to the City Engineer for specifications for
r pavement -on First Alley West of South Blain Street from Division To'Monroe Streets.
J Excavation Bond of the Indiana & Michigan Electric Co.approved.
J All bids received on Campau Street Grade Curb and Walk under Im rovement

Resolution NO. 9 are hereby recinded and the work -ordered relet.
Contract signed and Bond approved of Hugh Anderson for the La Salle Street
Inprovenent.NO. 3.
1 CONDEMNATION RESOLUTION NO. 2.
Resolved by the Board of Public Works of the City of South Bend,Indiana;
That the following described property be appropriated for the use of said City;
Beginning on the North line of Washington Avenue,and the East bank of the East
Race,thence west in line with said North line of Washington Avenue to the West
Bank of the West race,thence due -South 82 1/2ft.,to a point in line.with the South
line of said Washington Avenue, thence East to the East back of the East Race,
thence North 82 1/2 feet to the place of beginning.
Said above description is A strip 82 1/2feet wide running from the East bank
of the East Race,to the West bank -of the West Race,and to be used for the
extension of Washington Avenue.
The following described property may be injuriously or beneficially affected
by such appropriation; all property lying between La,Fayette Strand Sunnyside
Avenue,and the alley South of Washingt&n Avenue and the alley North of Washington
Avenue..
The purpose of such appropriation is the extension of Washington Avenue.
Notice of this resolution shall be published on the 10 of June and on the 17th.
day of June 1910.in the South Bend Daily Times
This Board at.its office in. the City Hall on the lat. day of July 1910.at 7-15 P.M.
will hear and receive remonstrances from all persons interested in or affected by
these proceedings.
