Board met in regular session at 10 A.M. all members present
Bids open for Water Connections on Fisher Street and Miami, Street refered to thr City
-Engineer for tabulation.

and on Fisher Street all refered to the City Engineer for tabulation.
Petition received and refered to the City Engineer for specifications asking

Curb and Walk on East Calvert Street from the second alley East of Miami Street to
Leer Street.
Communication received from the South Bend & Mishawaka Gas Co. read and ordered placed on
File.
IMPROVEMENT RESOLUTION No. 31
Resolved by the Board of Public Works of the City of South bend Indiana.
That it is desired and. deemed necessary to make the following described public improvements
in the said City as authorized by the following numbered Improvement Resolutionladopted by
said Board on the 7th. day of June 1910.
Resolved that an improvement be made of the kind,size,location of terminals points as follo'
By grading South Michigan Street from property line to property line(100 feet wide) from
Ewtng Avenue to the South line of Section 24(Dunbar Road) and from the South line of
Section ?4 (Dunbar Road) to the East and West center line of Section 25(Leeper Road )
said Michigan street shall be graded from curb line to curb line (60 feet wide) All as show
on plans and profiles on file in the office of the Board of Public works of the City of
South Bend,Indiana. and all work in the making of said public improvements must be done
in accordance therewith .
Said board has fixed ist, day of July 1910 as a date upon which remonstrances may be
filed or heard by persons interested or affected by said public improvements and on
said day at 7-15 P.M. said Board will at its said office hear and consider any remonstra
-tors and persons interested or whose property is affected by said public improvement
and will decide whether the benefits that will accrue to the p roperty,abutting and adjacent
to the proposed improvements,and to said City, will be equil to or exceed the estimated
cast of the proposed improvements, as estimated by the City Civil Engineer.
Said Improvement shall be known and designated as SOUTH MICHIGAN STREET GRADE IMPROVEMENT
NO 31.
A Bond or Bonds to be issued to the Contractor in payment for such work where the property
owner signes waiver required,as according to law. Whic h said bonds shall bear interest at
the rate of six per cent -per annum . payable as provided by law.
