Ewing Avenue Curb and Walk Improvement Resolution No.602 defered untill June 3th. at 10 A.M. Resolved.by the Board of-Publ-ic Works of the City of South Bend India-na.that whenever a permit i-s petitioned for of -the Board by any person firm or corpor ation to cut or dig into any street alley or public placecor through any pavement therein in the City of South Bend which Permit is provided for in Ordinance NO.1550 of said City,and this Board is not in session.then it shall be the duty of the City Civil Engineer and he -is here.by authorized and ?erected to- immediately issue such permit the same as this Board would do if it were in session all al".provided for in said Ordinance. The following contracts were avra,ded on Water Connections Prairie Avenue W. T-1. Burk Navarre Street and St.joseph Street to Thomas Williams. Sewer. -connections on Prairie Avenue to Charles Coussens. Nearing given on assessment RolTr and Final Estimat% for Li pe Sewar.on Eddy Street and Howard Street from South Bend] venue^under Improvement Resolution No. 619., No.remonstrators apperared and no remonstrencesvwere filed with.the Board .therefor find t ' hat the property assessed in said rolls filed.17th, day of. Declaratory hearing 6n Improvement Resolution # 14 Grade, Curb and Walk on South Scott Street from Indiana Avenue to Vandalic Rail Road. In the above matter no remonstrators apperaednand no remonstrenees were filed. .The Board therefor find in each and every case in.said improvements_ that the benefits to the property and to the City of South Bend are equal to the estimated cost of said improvements and the same are hereby in all things; ratified, confirmed and approved. Resolved, that notices be published on the..2nd,, day of June and on the .9th, day of June 1910, in the South Bend Daily Times, stczting that -this Board will receive bids.for the construction of said improvements up to 10 A.M. on the 21st day of. June 1910. The Board therefor find in each and every case in said improvements, that the benefits to the property and to the City of South Bend are equal to theestimated cost of said improvements and the sate are hereby in all things ratified, confirmed and approved.
