Board met in special .session at 7-30 P.M.all members present.
Hearing given on Declaratory Resolution for Pavement on Prairie Avenue from Sample
Street to Webster Streetunder Improvement Resolution #I
Engineers Estimate of Most.
I hereby certify that my estimates of the maximum cost,
of the most expensive pavement designated by the Board of Public Works in Improvement
Resolution I., adopted by the said Board at its meeting held 4 day of February 1910
for the Improvement of Prairie Avenur,from Sample to Webster Street in said City of South
Bend, Indiana.including the labor and cost of material,is the sum of 845,000vOO
In the above matter no remonstrators appeared and no remonstrances were filed.
The Board therefore find in each and every case in said improvement that the benefits
to the property and to the City of South Bend are equil to the estimated cost of said
improvementsand the same are hereby in all things ratified, confirmwd. and approved.
Be it Resolved ,that notice be published in the South Bend Daily Times on the IIth.
day of March and on the Igth. day of March,19IO,stating that this Board will receive
bids for the construction of said improvement up to IO A.M.on the 5th. day of April
1910. The Board reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
