Resolved. by the Board of Public WorkS of the City of South Bend Indiana. that the
City Engineer be hereby directed to prepare general plans and specifications for
Grade and Curb on LaSalle Avenue and submit the same to the Board for its
examination and aproval, at a meeting to be held on the I5th. day of March 1910
at 7-I5 P.M.

IMPROVEMENT RESOLUTION .# 3.
Resolved by the Board of Public works of the City of South Bend Indiana. That it is
necessary to improve LaSalle Avenue From Eddy Street to Sunnyside Avenue by gradim-7
said Avenue from property line to property line,and curbing the roadway with cement.
curb. All as shown on plans and in accordance with profiles,detail plans and
specifications on file in.the office of the Board. of Public works of the City of
South Bend Indiana.and such improvement is now ordered.
Be it further Resolved,that the Board of Public works fix the I5th day of March 1910
at the hour of 7-I5 P.M. at the office of the Board. of Public works in the City Hall
in this city,a,s the time and the place for the public consideration of the said
proposrd improvement,at which time said Board of Public works will hear all persons
interested or whose property is liable to be assessed for said improvement,€end will
decide whether the benifitsto the property liable to be assessed for said improvement
,rill equal the estimated cost thereof.
Be it further Res-olved that notice of the time and place of such public consideration
be published and mailed in the manner provided. by law.
Adopted this I5th. day of February 1910

"A Bond or Bonds to be issued to the Contractor in payment of such work where the propert
owner signs -waiver required,as according -,to law which said bonds shall bear interest at
the rate of six per -cent per.annum,payable as provided by law.
I hereby certify that my estimates of t"e maximum cost of the most expensive pavement
designated by the Board of Public works in Improvement Resolution #.I,adopted. by the
said Eoard at its said meeting held the 4-th. day of February 191,,:) for the improvement of
Praris Avenue from Sa,mPle Street to V.ebster Street in said City of South Bend Indiana.
including the labor and cost of material,i s the sum of $4.5,000.00
