Resoluution: App'rovi" g Plans. 'and _Specification .
Be it resolved by the Board of Publi`e' Works of the City of South Berntjndiana,
that the plans and specificationsfor the imprmvement of Prairie Avenue from
Sample Street to Webster Street,by pa ink; prepared by the City Engineer and
submittedto this Board of Public Works.pursusent to a certain resolution pagsed
on the 2nd.day of Feb. 1910 be -and the same are,hereby approved,and ordered
placed on rile in this office.

Resolved by the Board of Public Works of the City of South Bend, Indina
`fhat it is deemed necessary to improve Prairie Avenue from Sample Street to
Webster Street,by -grading &n& paving the roadway'a,lso grading and paving the
roadway of intersecting area entering; streets and alleys lying Within said portion
of said Pra;ir*e Avenuelnot included in the roadway to be -improved with Asphalt,
Bithlithic.Brick,or Croesoted. Wooden Block,laid on a five(5)inchPortland. Cement
Concrete Gravel founfation,from curb line to curb line all as shown on plans
and in°accordance with profiles,detail plans and specifications on file in the
office in the department of the Board of Public Works of said Cityand such
improvement is now ordered,
Be ,it further Resolved that the, -,Board of Public Works fix the Ist.dtay of March
191O,at the hour of 7-I5P.M. at the office of the Board of Public Works in the
City Mall of this City, as the time and place for t`tie public consideration of the
said preposed improvement,at which time said Board of Public Works will hear all
-is liable to -be ,.a-ssessed for said improvement
persons interested,or whose property
-anal will Beside whether. -the benifits to the property liable to be assessed for said
improv tent =will equal the estimated cost thereof::
Ee it further Resolved,that notie of the time and place of such public consideratior
be published,and mailed in the manner provided by law.

Pursuaent to your resolution adopted on the 2nd. day of February 19I0
I hereby report generaldettail,drawings,and general specifications for the curbing
and fou%dation, and the detail plans and specifications for the wearing surface
of each of the four followingnamed kinds of moden City pavements ,Viz.
Aspholt, Brick, Bitulithic,and Creosoted Wooden Block,for the improvement of
Prairie Avenue .from Sample Street to Webster Street.
