A Claims Review Meeting of the Board of Public Works was convened at 9:01 a.m. on Tuesday,
November 5, 2019 by Board Member Elizabeth Maradik with Interim Board Member Jitin Kain
and Board President Gary Gilot present. Board Members Genevieve Miller, Therese Dorau, and
Laura O'Sullivan were absent. The meeting was held in the 13ffi Floor Boardroom, County -City
Building, 227 W. Jefferson Blvd., South Bend, Indiana.
APPROVE CLAIMS
Ms. Maradik stated that a request to pay claims has been received by the Board; each claim is fully
supported by an invoice; the person receiving the goods or services has approved the claims; and
the claims have been filed with the City Fiscal Officer and certified for accuracy. Ms. Maradik

Therefore, Ms. Maradik made a motion that after review of the expenditures, the claims be
approved as submitted. Mr. Kain seconded the motion, which carried.
ADJOURNMENT
There being no further business to come before the Board, upon a motion made by Ms. Maradik,
seconded by Mr. Kain and carried, the meeting adjourned at 9:03 a.m.
