January 3rd. 1910. —SPECIAL MESt INU.
The Board net in special session at 10 A. IA. All ,members present.
Petition filed by Jas. Nelson & Co. asling that their bid on the Prairie
aveMle pavement be withdrawn.. Petition granted.
Light ordered for corner of Eddy street & Colfax avenue.
Whereas, the Board of Public Works has heretofore, to-wil on the 26th day
of November, 1909, by Improvement Resolution No. 629 determined that an improvement
be made ift the nature -of a street pavement on Prairie avenue from Sample street to the
City Limits, and
Whereas, bids for such improvement were on the 31st day of December, 19090
received and have this day been duly considered by.tlie Board.
It is therefore resolved by said Board .of Public Works that said street be
paved wits Barr Clay Brick on a concrete base and with a Sarso Asphalt filler in
accordance with the specifications. ,
All action under Condemnation Rerzolution No. 45, adopted on the 5th day of
November, 1907, for the widening of Fellows street was rescinded.
In the matter of Vaeation Resalution Nos. 26,27 & 31. The Board find that
the benefits and damages to the property effected and to the City of South Bend are
equal and the City of South Bend hereby assumes the expense of advertising and hereby
declare that all action under said resolutions is hereby concluded.

Meeting, called to. order by Harvey F. Rostiser., -Deputy, City Clerk
On motion of F. E. Lambert, seconded by C. F. Neidbalski, Otto C. Bastian was
nominated and elected President of the Board..
On motion of C. F. Neidbalski and seconded by Otto C. Bastian, F. E. Lambert
was nominated and elected Vice President.
Motion made by 0. F. Neidbalski and seconded by F. E. Lambert that the
following named parties be appointe(i to -fill the followin'r, positions. Carried.
