IMPROVEMENT RESOLUTION NO. 629
Resolved by the Board of Public Works of the. City of South Bend, Indiana: That an
improvement be made of the kind, size,, location and terminal points as follows:
Paving of Prairie Avenue from Sample Street to the present City Limits with either
Asphalt, Bitulithic, Creosoted Wooden Block, or Brick (block) Paveinent.
Said improvement shall be -known and designated as "THE PRAIRIE AVENUE PAVING
IMPKOVEKEn" and shall be chat tddi�=reording to the plans and specifications prepared by
the City Civil Engineer, filed herewith. Notice of this resolution shall be published on the
26th day of November and on the 31rd day of December 1909, in the South Bend Daily Times. This
Board will give a hearing on this resolution at its office in the City Hall on the 14th day of
December 1909 at 10:00 A. M.
A Bond or Nonds to be issued to the Contractor in payment for such work where the
property owner signs waiver required, as according to law. Which said bonds shall bearinterC
est at the rate of six per cent per annum payable as provided by law.

Contract signed with W. H. Burke for the Eddy Street hater Connections.
Light ordered at Lafayette Street and alley South of Mayne Street.
Hearing on Declaratory Resolution No. 622 for Wall, Walk, & Curb on Hydraulic Ave.
was deferred until Friday Dec. loth. , 1909 at 10: 00 A. Ili.
Contract awared to Indiana Lumber And Manufacturing Company for remodeling at
Anti Tuberculor Camp- Contract price $246.00
Contract awarded to Tharp Decorating Co. for redecorating in City Hall. (b ntract
price $125.00
