Then Board met in regular sessian at. 10:00 A. M. All members present;.
Petition filed for light at Ernsperger Street & Calvert Street and Halo Street.
and RanA&lph Street.
Petition f iled for the vacation.of alley between. lots 139 & 140 in Wenger and
Kreighbaums Broadway Add. Referred to Engineer.
Engineer instructed to prepare specifications for. Pavement on Prairie Ave. from
the end of the present pavement to City Limits.
Hearing on Improvement Resolution No. 626 for Pipe sever on Eddy Street from
Howard Street to St. Vincent Street confirmed.
Engineer filed estimated cost as follows:

In the above matter no remonstrantor_s appeared and no remonstrances were filed.
The Board therefore find in each and every care in said improvements that the benefits to
the property and to the City of South Bend are equal to the estimated cost of said impr.ove-
Ments anci the same are hereby in aJ_1 things ratified,acon'irmed nd approved.
Resolved, that notices be published on of. and on the
day of 909, in the South Bend Daily Times, stating that this Board will re-
ceive bids for the construction of said inp ro vement up to 10 A. M. on the 26th., day of
November, 1909. The Board reserves the rirght to reject any or all bids.
All action under Improvement Resolution No. 614 for Grade, Curb & Walk on Huron
Street was rescinded.
The Board having under consideration the proposed opening of William
Street from Colfax Ave. to Michigan Avenue under condemnation Resolution, No. 50 and having
prepared roll of awards and damages as to property affected which roll is reedy for adop-
tion and it appearing to the Board that it was agreed that the interested property owners
should receive a copy of said roll for inspection prior to the adoption it is therefore
orde-ed that a, copy of said roll be delivered to some member of the committee which rep-
res*ntedsaid owners before this Board and it is further ordered that further action hereon
be delayed until Friday morning Nov. 12th., 1909.
