The Central Union Telephone Co, was granted an extension of ninety days to leave t Cable Bridge over Center Street, from the Oliver Opera House Block to the St. Joseph County` Bank Building. Elishaa Peck appeared in person and: objected to an obstruction of earth in the along the South side of Jefferson Street between -St. Joseph Street and Vistula Avenue. Referred to Strut Commissioner with instructions to remove the obstruction: Street commissioner instructed to repair crosswalk at co-mer of .Blain Ave & Van Buren Street. Remonstrance filed against the paving of North Eddy Street, same referred to Engineer for investigation. VACATION RESOLUTION NO. 57 Resolved by the Board of Public Works of the City of South Bend, Indiana: That it is desirable to vacate the following: The first alley south of Mildred Street running East & west between State Street'and Swygart Street & touching lots 29-30-53 & 54 in Swygarts Third Addition to the City of South Bend. Also the alley between State Street & Swygart Avenue running North from the North. side of Mildred St. & extending North to.the South side of the first alley North of Indiana Avenue, said alley being the north boundary of said addition. The following property may be injourously or beneficially effected by such vacation. Lots 29,30,53,54, and lots 34,3506,37,35939,40, 41,422439,44,45,46,471,48949. Swygarts 3rd Addition John A. & Mattie J. Swygart Notice of this resolution shall be published on the l9th day of September and on the 25th day of Sept. 1909., in the South Bend Daily Times. This Board, at its office in the City hall on the 5th day of Oct. 1909 at 10;00 A.M will hear and receive remonstrances from all persons interest in or affected by these proceed ings.
