The Board met. in regular session at, 104-00 A. M-. All .members present.
A petition signed by G. L. Huffman and 33 others was filed by H. R. Wair attorney
eking the City to assume jurisdiction over a tract of land in Shetterly Place Addition,
ljdng between -the North Line of Leland Avenue & the Northerly line of Lot 66 in said Add -
.on & the St. Joseph River as Park Property.
And the Board having examined into the matter and it appearing that a dedication
of said land for park purposes has been heretofore regularly made, it is therefore ordered
that the Supt. of Parks assume charge of said land as park property and immediately place
the same in a sanitary condition and that by prpper notice the parties be advised against
trespassing upon the same; that rules and regulations regarding filling upon said lands
be made and adheared to and that the Supt of Parks file with this Board a proposed plan
for the development of said tract as park lands.
Contractor Bond of Chas L. Headley filed and approved.
Light ordered at the intersection of Swygart, Amnaft & Prairie Ave.
Remonstrance filed ag inst i%. Jaquith Court Pipe Sewer.
Bids were received & opened for Tarvia, Macadam on Notre Dame Street & Notre Dame
Avenue,- Also sidewalk & Curb on Broadway Street from Fellows to Miami -Street.
