Bond of OtShea & Shea filed and. approved and contract signed for the construction
of the Meade, Huron and Olive Street Trunk Sewer.;r1
Petition filed for Brick Pavement, on Hydraylic Ave. & East Madison Street from La
Salle Ave. to .Eddy Street.

Gentlemen:
I submit the following report of tests of stone to be used for Macadam on Leland
Ave. pavement.
Samples of stone were submitted from four Companies & tests in the rattler from
1500 revolutions in our Standard rattler with 2507 of foundry shot shows the following
loss in abrasion.
Lehigh Stone Co. Blue Stone .......... .•............ 161% loss.

I -have not completed test On McCook but from above tests the La, Grange Stone shows
superior quality.
