The Board met in special sessionat 7.915 P. M. All members present.
Hearing given on Declaratory Resolutions for Grade, Curb &-Walk on Cherry Street
from Jefferson street to Divi,sio ��cc�Street; _Grade, Curb, & Walk on Notre Dame Street from -
Wayne Street to Division Street;iSewer on Bartlett Street from Michigan Street to Lafayette
Street; Pipe Sewer on St. Peter Street from Jefferson Street to Washington Street; Pipe
Seger on Linden Avenue from JohnSon Street to Sixth Street, All under improvement resol-
utions Nos. 583, 5$6, 5911, 592,'593 respectively.
Engineer filed estimated cost as follows.
Notre Dame St.....Wayne St. to Division St ....... G. C. & W....... $ 30.00
Cherry St ......... Jefferson St. to Division St...G. C. & W. $ 555,00
Linden Ave........Johnson St. to Sixth St ........ Pipe Sewer. $19363.00
St.Peter St ....... Jefferson St. to Washington Sb.Pipe Sewer. $ S18.00
Bartlett St ....... Michigan St. to Lafayette St...Pipe Sewer. 954.00
In the above matter no remonstrators appeared and no remonstrances were filed. The
Board therefore find in each and every case in said improvements that the benefits to the
property and to the City of South Bend are equal to the estimated cost of said improvements
and the same are hereby in all things ratified, confirmed and approved.
Resolved, that notices be published on the 16th day of June and on the 23rd day
of June, 1909, in the South Bend Daily Times, stating that this Board will receive bids for
the construction of said improvements up to 10 A. M. on the 6th day of July, 1909. The Board
reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
