Gentlemen: — The Portage Lark' Company hereby respectfully petitions your Board for permission to grade Woodward Avenue frorn, the North lime of Hudson Avenue to the South line of the right of way of the Michigan Central Railroad; said work, iWhen finished, to conform with the grade as established by the City Engineer. Hearing given on assessment Roll and fina�..P.estimate for Pipe Sewer on Niles Ave. fr Howard street to Corby street, under Improvement Resolution No. 550. No remonstrators appeared and no.remonstrances were riled. The Board therefore find that the property assessed in said rolls filed May llth.,19092 is benefitted in the amount of assessments as shown on said rolls, and the Board further find that the assessment rolls file May llth., 1909, and. the final estimate allowed May llth, 1909, should be and the same are hereby in all things ratified, confirmed and approved. The Board having under consideration the proposed construction of a Trunk Sewer on Meade, Huron & Olive streets under Improvement Resolution No. 551, it is hereby resolved, that notices be published on the 26th. day of May and on the 2nd. day of June, 1909, in the South Bend Daily Times, stating that this Board will receive bids for the construction of said improvement up to 10:00 A. X. on the 1$th shay of June, 1909. The Board reserves the right to reject any or all bids. Hearing given on Declaratory Resolution for Tarvia Macadam Pavement on Leland Ave. under Inprovement Resolution No. -992. Engineer filed estimated cost as follovgg: (name of street) (kind of improvement) (cost) LELAND TARVIA MACADA14 $14202.00 In the above matter no remonstrators appeared and no rertonstrances were filed. The Board therefore find in each and every case in said improvements that the benefits to the property and to the City of South Bend are equal to the estimated cost of said. improvements anti the same are hereby in all things ratified,confirned and approved. Resolved, that.notices be published on the 26th day of May and on the 2nd day of June, 1909, in the South Bend Daily Times, stating that this Board will receive bids for the construction of said improvement up to 10 A. Resolved by the Board of Public Works of the City of South Bend, Indiana; That an improvement be made of the kind, size, location and terminal points as Follows, Water connections on Leland and Hudson Avenues. from lst angle in Leland Ave. to Portage.and Terrace Aves. in accordance with a report submitted by the Board of Public Works to the Common Council and adopted by the Comrvon Council on May 24th. , 1909. Said improvement shall be known and designated as "THE LELAND AVE. AND HUDSON AVE. WATER CONNECTION IMPROVEMENT" and shall be constructed according to the plane and specifications prepared by the City Civil Engine er, filed herewith. Notice of this resol- ution shall be published on the 26 day of May, and on the 2nd day of June 1909, in tile! South Bend Daily Times. Resolved by the Board of Public Works of the City of South Bend., Indiana; That an improvelffeht_.°be made of the kind, size, location and terminal points as follows: Water connections on Notre Dame street from Jefferson street to City Limits. In accordance with a report submitted to Common Council by the Board of Public Works and. adopted on the 24th day of Hay 1909. Said improvement shall be known and designated as "THE NOTRE DAME STREET WATER CONNECTION IMPROVE@aIENT" and shall be constructed according to the plans and specifications prepared by the City Civil Engineer, filed herewith. Notice of this resolution shall be published on the 26th day of May and on the 2nd day of June, 1909, in the South Bend Daily Times. This Board will receive bids for this work at its office in the City Hall on the 18th day of June, 1909, at 10:00 A. M. Adopted this 25th day of May 1909. Resolved by the Board of Public Works of the City of South Bend, Indiana: That an improvement be made of the kind, size, locaation and terminal points an follows: Pipe Seeger on Bartlett street from Michigan street to Lafayette street. Said improvement shall be known and designated as "THE BARTLETT STREET PIPE SEVER IMPROVEMENT" and shall be constructed according to the plans and specifications pre- pared by the City Civil Engineer, filed.herewith. Notice of this resolution shall be pub- lished on the 26th day of May and on the 2nd day of June, 1909, in the South Bend Daily Times. This board will give a hearing on this resolution at its office in the City Hall on the 15th day of June, 1909, at 7:15 P. M. A Bond or Bonds to be issued to the Contractor in payment for such work where the property owner signs waiver required, as according to law. Said improvement shall be known and designated as "THE ST. PETER STREET PIPE SEWER IMPROVEXENT" and shall be constructed according to the plans and specifications pre- -pared by the City Civil Engineer, filed herewith. Notice of this resolution shall be pub- lished on the 26th day of May and on the 2nd day of June, 1909, in the South Bend Daily Times. This Board will give a!, hearing on this resolution at its office in the City Hall ,on the 15th day of June, 1909, at 7:15 P. M.
