Petition filed by Win. L. Dallman et al. for grade, curb and walk on Foster and
Stanfield streets from Howard street to St. Vincent street.
Remonstrance filed by A. W. Byers et al. against paving of alley West of Mich-
-igan street from Monroe street to South street.
Engineer filed Assessment moll and final estimate for Pipe Sewer on Niles Ave.
from Howard street to Corby street, under Improvement Resolution No. 590.
Resolved, that notices as to the amounts of assessments be published for six
consecutive days in the South Bend. Daily Times, commencing on the 12th., day of May, 19092
stating that this Board will give a hearing on the amount of s4bh assessments at its office
in the City Hall on the25th day of Play, 1909 at 10: W A. 14.
Resolved further, that the entire work under the above contracts be accepted and
approved and the final estimate thereon allowed. Notice of their resolution shall be pub-
lished on the 12th day of May, 1909, in the South Bend Daily Times, stating that this
Board will give a hearing on the acceptance of such work at its office in the City Hall on
the 25th. , day of May,, 1909, at 10 :00 A. PSI.
Communication received from the Chicago Motar Club asking permission to erect
ornimental guide posts and signs on the principal thoroughfares to and from the City.
Said permission granted and signs to be erected under the direction of the
Street Department
