The Board met in regular session at 10 A. M. All members present.
Communication received from the Oliver Estate asking for the cancellation of a
lease for a certain piece of property on Arnold street,.,,whieh was to be used for
Hose house purposes. The cancellation_ is asked for owing, to the fact that the project
has practically been abandoned.
The communication was referred to the common council, as this matter is now
pending before that body.
Communication received from Elbel Bros. making complaint against the smell of
gas which is alleged to come from a break in the:Vistula avenue --main near
Washington street. Clerk instructed to notify Gas Co.
Petition filed by Mard D. Stephenson et. al. asking for Brick Pavement on the
alley east of Michigan street from South street to Monroe street.
