The Board met in regular session at 10 A. M. Mr. Melnerny absent.

Park Supt. Beyer reported that the 6 ice rinks were in very good condition
and that the same were uned by at least 1200 childred daily. It is the intention of
the Board to keep the rinks up to the proper standard as long as the weather
will permit.
A communication was addressed to Mr. Samuel Riddle, Gen'l Mgr. of the Chicago,
South Bend & Northern Indiana Railway Company, in compliance with a request From
the residents of Chapin & Sample'streets, asking that the St. Car company return
to its former schedule of 1.5 minutes, as.the present 12 minute shhedule has proven
very unsatisfactory, owing principally to the delays at railroad crssings.
Contract awarded to H.- DeVos & Co. for the Niles avenue Pipe Sewer.
