Friday December 4th, 1909.
The Board met in regular session at 10 A. M. Mr. Papezynski absent.
Engineer filed assessment rolls and final estimates for Pipe Sewer on Sixth
street from Washington street to Kenwood avenue and on Haney avenue from -May street
to E. line of lot 53 Leer's addition, under Improvement Resolutions Nos. 569 & 577.
Resolved, that notice, as to the amounts of assessments be published for six
consecutive days in the South Bend Daily Times, commencing on the 5th day of
December, 1909, stating that this Board will give a hearing on the amount of such
assessments at its office in the City Hall on the 22nd day of December, 1909, at
7:15 P. M.
Resolved further, that the, -:entire work under the above contracts be accepted
and approved and the final estimate thereon allowed. Notice of this resolution shall
be published on the 5th day of December, 1909, in the South Bend Daily Times,
stating that this Board will give a hearing on the acceptance of such work at'its
office in the City Hall on the 22nd day of December, 19W. at 7:15 P. M.
IMPROVE14ENT RESILUTION NO. 590.
Resolved by the Board of Public Works of the City of South Bend, Indiana: That
an improvement be made of the kind, size, location and terminal points as follows:
Pipe Sewer on Niles avenue from Howard street to Corby street. Said improvement shall
be known and designated as ~THE NILES AVENUE PIPE SEVER IMPROVEMENT" and shall be
constructed according to the plans and specifications prepared by the City Civil
Engineer, filed herewith. Notice of this resolution shall be publishdd on the 5th
day of December and on the 12th day of December, 1908, in the South Bend Daily Times.
This Board will give a hearing on this resolution at its office in the City Hall on
the 22nd day of December, 1908, at,7:15 P. M.
A Bond or Bonds to be issued to the Contractor in ayment for such work where
the property owner signs waiver required, as according o law. which said Bonds shall
bear interest at the rate of six per cent per annym, payable as provided by law.
Adopted this 4th. day of December, 1909.

avenue from Francis street to Eddy street.
