The Board met in regular session at 10 A. M. Mr. McIrierny.absent.
'Petitions filed for a`pip a sewer on South Bend avenue from Eddy street to
City Limits.
Petition filed for gas mains in 1GOO and 1000 blocks on Cedar street
Bonds of Harry N. Barnes filed and approved and contracts signed for the
Jefferson street and Portage avenue sidewalks and for the Grading of the alley
North of G. T. R. R. Co. frt house.
Awarding of contract for the W. Wayne street sewer was deferred until Wednesday
October 21st, 1909, at.10 A. M.

SPECIAL SESSION TUESDAY EVENING OCTOBER 20TH, 1909, AT 7:15
The Board met in special session at 7:15 P. K._ Mr. XcInerny absent.
Remonstrance filed by Del C. Leer et al. against the Haney avenue Pipe Sewer.
Engineer instructed to amend specifications for Haney avenue Pipe Sewer, some
to read"from May street to E. line of lot 53 Leers replat of 2nd add."

Hearing given on Declaratory Resolutions for Pipe Sewer on Haney avenue from
May street to east end of street; Pipe Sewer on Hine street from Walnut street to
Studebaker street and for Pipe Sewer on E. Jefferson street from Eddy street to
City Limits all under Improvement Resolutions Nos. 577, 579 be 579 respectively.

Engineer filed estimated cost as follows:
Haney avenue.......... yi1. Hine street............Jefferson st ..
In the the above matter no remonstrators appeared and no remonstrances were filed.
The Board therefore find in each and every case in said improvements that the benefits
to the property and to the City of South Bend are equal to therstimated cost of .said
improvements and the same are hereby in all things.ratified, confirmed and approved.
Be it resolved that notices be published in the South Bend Daily Times on the 22
day of October and on the 29th day of October, 1909, to the effect that thir, Board will
receive bids for said improvemenTs-up to 10 a. m. on the loth day of November, 1905.
The Board reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
