Friday October 16th, 1908,
The Board met in regular session at 10 A. M. Mr. McInerny absent.
Remonstrance filed by Henry J. Elbel et. al. against the proposed brick
pavement on Allen street from Michigan.avenue to Portage avenue. Referred to Engineer.
Hearing given on Assessment Rolls and final estimates for Brick Pavement on
Alley west of Franklin street from Jefferson street to Division street, Grading on
Division street from Frances street to Notre Dame street, under Improvement
Resolution No. 555 & 562 respectively.
No remonstrators appeared and no remonstrances were filed. The Board therefore
find that the property assessed in said rolls filed September 23rd, 1908, is
benefitted in the amount of assessments as shown on said rolls, and the Board further
find that the assessment roll filed Septe,-lber 23rd, 1909, and the final estimates.

ratified, confirmed and approved.
Hearing given on Declaratory Resolutions for Brick Pavement on the lst alley
North of Division street from Lafayette street to Franklin street; Brick Pavement
on the 1st alley north of Sample street from Main street to 1st alley west of
Michigan street, Grading on Terrace avenue from Portage avenue to St. Joe River;
Grading onLel4nd avenue from Hudson avenue to Terrace avenue, all under Improvement
Resolutions Nos. 573, 5742 575 & 576 respectively.

In the above matter no remonstrators appeared and no remonstrances were filed.
The Board therefore find in each and every case in -said improvements that the
benefits to the property and to the City of South Bend are equal to the estimated
cost of said improvements and the same are hereby in all things ratified, confirmed
and approved.
Be it resolved that notices be published in the South Bend Daily Times on the
17th day of October and on the 24th day of October, 1905, to the effect that this
Board will receive bids for said improvements up to 10 a. m. on the loth day of
November, 1905. The Board reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
