o this staff report is professional service proposal from AEP /Indiana Michigan Power to
1 Alternate Feed Service from the West Side sub - station to the Union Station Technology
he "estimated" cost for the Alternate Feed Service is $165,000 which includes the
i of a new service line and meter from a point on Chapin Street to the USTC.
The lead �ower me on equipment for this service line is mid - December and is necessary to provide an
alternate feed to the USTC.
The fundi g for this project will come from funding allocated by Memorandum of Understanding #1
approved by the Redevelopment Commission in March 2012. The purpose of the funding allotment
in MOU 41 was to provide for power equipment and services needed by the USTC to upgrade
facility se ice to a minimum 5 MW service capacity.
Staff regl�ests approval of this professional service contract in the amount of $165,000 to provide an
AlternatelFeed Service to the USTC.

This agreement is between Indiana Michigan Power and the South Bend Redevelopment
