ThE Board met in Special Session at 7:15 P.M.All members present. HearinG on Declaratory Resolution s for the following cement sidewalks �$ deferred until Friday`September 4th, 19052 at 10 A.M. Hearing given on Declaratory Resolutions for Grade, Curb & Walk on Rogers street from Johnson street to Olive street; Brick Pavement on the lst alley west of LaFayette street from Colfax -avenue to 1st alley south; Pipe Sewer on Haward avenue from Michigan avenue to Van Buren street; Pipe Sewer on Sixth street from Kenwood avenue to Washing- ton street. -Sidewalks onfPortage avenue on south side from Sherman avenue to Allen street Under Improvement Resolutions Nos. 565, 5609 5672 565, & 569 respectively. Engineer filed estimated cost as follows: Rogers street Grade, Curb & Walk $2,741.00 Alley west of Lafayette St. Brick Pavement 1,203.00 -Howard avenue Pipe Sewer 655.00 Skzth street Pipe Sewer 22750.00 Portage avenue Walks. 76.00 In the above matter no remonstrators appeared and no remonstrances were filed. The Board therefore find in each and every case in said improvements that the benefits to the property and to the City of South Bend are equal to the estimated cost of said improvements and the same are hereby in all things ratified, confirmed and approved. Be.it resolved that notices be published in the South Bend Daily Times on the 1 � day of. September and on the . /- day of September, 1909, to the effect that this Board will -receive bids for said improvements up to 10 A..M..on the 22nd day of September, 1905. The Board reserves the right to reject any or all bids. Hearing given on Assessment Roll and final estimates for Water Connections on Wood street from Michigan avenue to Marion street,under Improvmment Resolution No.563. No remonstrators appeared and no remonstrances were filed. The Board therefore find that the property assessed in said roll filed Aug. 21, 1905, is benefitted in the amount of assessments as shown on said roll, and the Board further find that the assessment roll Filed August 21st, 1905, and the final estimate allowed August 21st, 1908, should be and the same is hereby in all things ratified, confirmed and approved.
