The Board met in regular session at 10 A.. M. Mr. McInerny absent,
Engineer reported grade on Kirby street. -.Same approved.
Engineer filed assessment rolls and final estimates for'Grading on St. Peter
street from Cedar street to Sorin street; Brick Pavement onFord street from Scott
street to Chapin street; -Grade, Curb & Walk on --St. Peter street.from Corby street
to Napoleon street, under ?mprovement'Resolution Nos. 551, 484 & 495 respectively.
Resolved that notices as to the amounts of assessments be published Bor six
consecutive days in the South Bend Daily Times, commencing on the 22nd day of July,
stating that this Board vdll give €, hearing on the amount of -such assessments at its
office in the City Hall on the 4th-day of August, 1905, at 7:15 P. M.
Resolved further,.that the entire work under the above contracts be accepted andl
approved and the final estimate thereon allowed. Notice of this resolution shall
be published on the 22nd day of July, 1909, in the South Bend Dail17 Times, stating
that this Board will give a hearing on the acceptance of such work at its office in
the City Hall on the 4th day. of August, 1905, at 7:15 P.M.
Bonds of James Nelson & Co were filed and `approved and Contracts were signed
for the` East Divi-sion street Gradeing; Alley west of Franklin street and alley
west of Lafayette street Brick Pavements,
The American Surety Company of New York were notified to repair the south Lafay_
ette street Asphalt Pavement under their guarantee bond.
