The Board met in regular session at 10 A. Id. Mr. Papezynsh-i absent.
The following contracts were awarded:

The following communication was received:-

Gentlemen: --
Acknowledging receipt of your communication of the 17th inst. with
reference to the flooding of Howard Park and an alleged raising of our dam in this
City, the South Bend Mfg. Co. respect='ully calls attention to the fact that the dam
as repaired is lower in height than originally built and that the original
construction in no way exceeded our charter rights. In view of which we must deny
.any liability in so restoring our property to its former efficiency.

The Communication was referred to the Common Council. .
Lights ordered at the Corner of Olive and Ford streets and at the intersection
of Dunham street and the alley west of Webster street.
Hearing on Declaratory Resolution for Pipe Sewer on Edward street and. on
Condemnation Resolution No. 43 was deferred until July 3rd, 19085, at 10 A. M.
