The Board met in regular session at 10 A. M. ..All members present.
Bids were opened and referred to the Engineer for tabulation for
Asphalt Pavement on west Washington street; Brie Pavement on the Alley south of
Jefferson street and for the grading of St. Peter street.
Plat of Howard's Sub -Division of north part of out lot S in Samuel Cottrels
lst addition to Lowell, now a part of the City of South Bend, was.filed and approved.
VACATION RESOLUTION NO. 53.
Resolved by the Board of Public Works of the City of South Bend, Indiana: That
it is desirable to vacate the following:
Begin at the north west corner of lot 211 in Daniel Garsts a(��dition to the
City of South. Bend, Indiana; thence south on the west line of said lot 211 to the
south-west corner of said lot 211; thence west 12 feet; thence north to the south
line, of Tutt street; ,thence east -12 feet to the place of beginning, being a
public alley.
The following property may be injuriously or beneficially affected by such
vacation:
North 1/2 of lot 259 Daniel Grrsts Sub -Division of part of Daniel Garsts.l Add:
Owned by Gottfried Schinke
INSouth 1/2 of lot 259 Do. Owned by Emil Schinke
IN All of lot 260 Do. Owned by Isaac Farneman
All Of lot 211 Daniel Garsts 1st addition Owned by Lousa Lamb.
Notice of this resolution shall be published on the 17th day of June and on -the
24th day of June, 1909, in the South Bend Daily Times.
This Board art its office in the City Hall on the 14th day of July, 1905, at
10 A. M. hear and receive remonstrances from all persons interested in or
&Xfected by these proceedings. _
Adopted this 16th day of June, 1905.
