The Board met in regular session at 10 A. M. All members present.
Be it resolved by the Board of Public Works that the resolution heretofore
adopted upon the,Z4th day of May, 1909, amending the specifications
as originally drawn for the pavement on t+PEst Washington street, upon which bids will
be received June 16th, 1909, providing for the paverent of the space between the
street railway tracks with brick instead of; asphalt, is hereby in all things rescinded
and the specifications as originally drawn providing for the pavement of the space
between the street railway tracks with asphalt are.and the same is hereby in all thin-
gs confirmed and approved. a-Z)
In the above matter no remonstrators appeared and no remonstrances were filed.
The Board therefore find in each and every case in said improvements that the benef-
its to the property and to the City of South Bend are equal to the estimated cost
of said improvements and the same are hereby in all things ratified, confirmed
and. approved.
Be it resolved that notices be published in the South Bend Daily Times on the
5th clay of June and on the 12th day of June, 1908,to the effect that this Board
will receive bids for said improvements up to 11:30 A. M. on the 16th day of
June, 1909. The Board reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
