The Board met in regular session at 10 A. M. Mr. McInerny absent.
Contractor Bonds of Chas. L. Headley and Elias G. Metz were filed and approved.
Petition filed by H. Hardman et. al. for an elec t,ric light at the corner of Michigan
avenue and College street.
Engineer reported Grade on Alley west of Lafayette street from Wayne street to
Division street. Same was approved.
Opening of the bids for the Hot Air heating for No. 10 Hose House was deferred
»ntil Friday April 17th, 1905, at 10 A. M.
IIvMROVEMENT RESOLUTION NO. 547.
Be it Resolved by the Board of Public Works of the City of South Bend, Indiana:
That an improvement be made of the kind, size, location and terminal points as follows:
Pipe Sewer on Olive street from Kenwood avenue to Michigan avenue. Said improvement
shall be known and designated as "THE OLIVE STREET PIPE SEVER IMPROVEIMENT" and shall be
constructed according to the plans and specifications prepared by the City Civil Engineer
filed herewith. Notice of this resolution shall be published on the 15th day of
April and on the 22nd day of April 190E, in the South Bend Daily Times. This Board will
Five a hearing on this resolution at its office in the City Hall on the 5th day of May
1905, at 7:15 P. M.
A Bond or Bonds to be issued to the Contractor in payment for such work where the
property owner signs waiver, required as according to law. Which said bonds shall
bear interest at the reate of six per cent per a :nu, payable as provided by law.
