Petition received from the Common Council asking for the opening of Keasey street. Same was placed on file. Contractor Bond of Paul Alfutowski filed and approved. Light ordered at intersection of Jefferson street h Vistula avenue. Hearing on Resolution for. Pipe Sewer on Edward street was deferred until April 24th, 11�-OS, at 10 A. M. Resolved by the Board of Public Works of the City of South Bend, Indiana: That an improvement be made of the kind, size, location and terminal points as follows: Cement sidewalks on Franklin street from Wayne street to South street, where not already laid. Said improvement shall be known and designated. as "THE FRANKLIN STREET CEMENT WALK IMPROVEMF�NT" and shall be constructed according to the plans and specifications prepared by the City Civil Engineer, filed herewith. Notice of this resolution shall be published on the lst day of —April and on the 9th day of April, 1909, in the South Bend Daily Times. This Board will give a hearing on t1is resolut- ion at its office in the City Hall on the 21st day of April 1909, at 7:15 P.M. M- A Bond or Bonds to be issued to the Contractor in payment for such work where the property owner signs waiver required, as according to law.
